Seon Gives Back

Caring about our community, in and out of the office.

Seon believes that morale and team building are essential to a productive workplace. Throughout the year, staff tournaments, contests, special events and charity programs help foster teamwork. These employee-generated projects allow our staff to participate in the events they want. With the support of management, these events are integrated into the work day creating a supportive and positive work environment.

Seon’s social committee ensures that employees come together at least once a month for some fun and relaxation. The committee organizes everything from sport events to lunches, games and a monthly 50/50 draw, where funds help employee charities or go towards future events.

Seon also cares about the health and wellbeing of its employees. The company offers a gym, a running club, and free healthy breakfasts and snacks. Situated along the Fraser River and beside a large regional park, Seon encourages its employees to head outside for a stroll or jog. Seon’s annual summer family picnic also helps unite employees in an afternoon of relaxation, games and BBQ.

Seon Mobile Surveillance is also active in the community and supports projects throughout North America. From charities and children’s sports to community and education projects, Seon backs the causes that are important to our staff and our customers.
 
Seon has sponsored employees in the Ride to Conquer Cancer, a two day cycling journey of over 300 km from Vancouver to Seattle, and the annual Walk for Miracles, which raises funds for the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. A Seon sponsored team participates in the annual Vancouver Sun Run, which contributes to Raise-a-Reader, a national literacy campaign, and we sponsor a little league baseball club known as the Seon Mariners.

Seon has recently become involved with Air Time Canada, a non-profit organization that administers free aviation-based leadership and self confidence programs for teens and adults. In September, we participate in the Terry Fox Run, and in October, we raised funds for breast cancer research. In addition, Seon organizes a highly successful food drive for our local food bank every December. Seon also makes generous donations to the Pan Pacific Christmas Wish Breakfast toy drive.

Our success is only as strong as our relationship with our customers, our staff and our community. As a company, Seon works to be proactive and conscious of needs in our area, and in the communities where co-work together.
